Trying to determine if my friend has a Model 2 or Model 3 Kitfox. Vertical fin height was measured as 44”. Rudder height was measured as 43.25”. Would appreciate replies from those with ready access to their Kitfox and a tape measure. Thanks.

My Model 2 measures 44" for both the vertical fin and rudder at the hinge.

Actually slightly under 44" by about 1/16". Can you be more specific as
to where you want the measurement taken?
(You should also be able to tell by serial number, mine is S/N 496 )

Hi Mark I have a 2 and its 44 inches... hmmmmmm maybe he has a 2?
