I used a Makita electric die grinder with a cylindrical grinding bit
on a warm day and took a little off at a time.

John,
LPAero makes the canopies - at least they made mine. Installation instructions and tips are on the LPAero web site at http://www.lpaero.com/DRILTRIM.html

<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> When I got my second canopy from Todd, he recommended using a good disc on an angle grinder. (In my case a 4" grinder). With one guy to help steady it, it was an absolute breeze. Noisy, but easy. Cut both sides to accommodate my side rails and locks in less than an hour. Much better then the hours I spent with the Dremel.
