Hello:
I have now a problem with my communications... I have a King radio 125...when taxing I can hear and they can hear everything is fine..
however once in the air,, everything works OK, except I do not have side tone....I can transmitt, they can hear I can hear, but
no side tone on the head-set.
I have checked what I can. Any other suggestions?

Hi Bert,
|
IIRC, some radios have extra pins in the connector that must be tied
together to get a sidetone on transmit.
Is this a new problem or has it always been this way?
If this is a problem that just developed, check to see if the radio is
seated all the way in the rack and back-side connector. When a radio
'backs out' slightly, it's a crap shoot on which pin will lose
connection first.
