Wade,

Rivet the rear most L angels to the floor first and use a hand rivet gun with the nose

piece ground on one side to fit in close where it will fit under the longeron.

Wade,

I riveted the side "L" angles to the baggage floor first, then the assembly
can be folded about the center line and positioned under the longerons.

I did the same, except that I went one step further. I split the baggage floor down the middle to ease the handling (w/ ZAC approval). I riveted an .025 doubler under the seam. Sure made it easier to manage.

I riveted the L angles to the baggage floor and then installed the baggage floor into the fuselage and riveted the side skins to the angles. Leave the baggage floor traverse L angles off until the floor is installed. This way, you can bow the baggage floor to get it under the top longerons.

I did what Jay did and split the floor down the middle. If my attached picture worked, you can see the double row of cleco's where I substituted a u-channel for the L-angle. The aft floor will have the side L-angles riveted to it before placing the floor in the fuselage due to the longeron proximity. The forward baggage floor will be left un-riveted until close to the end.

Good luck,
