I might get there on Sunday.

We are flying with "TeamRV" at "Thunder at Fort Jackson" this Saturday.

Stormy and the Mzungu are headed to W95 for a beach weekend, whenever the rain moves offshore tomorrow. Sorry to miss Lumberton, but when the alternative is sex on the beach, I guess it's a no-brainer, huh?

The two activities need not be mutually exclusive. Remember the Mile High Club? Throw a little sand on the cockpit floor or in your shorts to enhance the experience.

Ron: I am convinced the only way to even attempt to join the mile high club in an RV is with the autopilot engaged. Yes, I installed a good one from Trio...

Ed: you are actually right: flying is the second greatest thrill known to man. Landing is the first.

Repucci's take on my weekend may be the closest to the truth, but I'll never tell - my momma didn't raise no fool Wink

Stormy,

Don't feel bad. On Tuesday night Nora slid head first into my cockpit where she proceeded to buck my foreskin. We have a date this weekend to finish the job.

And...

While she is down there, she is going to torque my nuts.

Very Happy

Bill

One more thing. Before Nora joined us, Tad and Radomir helped pound some rivets on the top forward skin of my -9.

While Nora was bucking, they just stood around with their hands in their pockets.

Just got back from the Mid-Atlantic and everybody was asking me "Where are all the RVs?", so you guys were missed. The most interesting thing I saw there was a P-47 Thunderbolt in flight - first one that I had ever seen flying. A P-51, A-26, a Navy SkyRaider, a T-6 and some turbine powered low wing with USAF markings - I presume one of their trainers.

Attendance, was down, although Saturday brought out a fair size crowd of aircraft, but I'll bet there were not 10,000 attendees compared to their estimate of 50,000 the first year.

Still, a lot of great folks and Rowan County EAA chapter continued to serve excellent breakfast and lunch at - most reasonable prices. Great bunch of folks.
