Michigan Kitfoxer's .....
I completely forgot John's kind offer to buy the first dozen
Kitfox'ers breakfast or lunch at Allegan today...here's his letter to
me:
Lynn,
I can not find my Michigan Kitfox list and I am tied up until Friday
doing a bid on a project. Can you help spread the word about the
Allegan fly-in and that I will buy the first dozen
Kitfox owners to arrive breakfast or lunch.

I posted the body of his letter but left off the most important part,
the free food for the 1st 12 'foxes that show up.
Here's the body of the letter again:

West Michigan Fly-In This Weekend!
This Saturday, June 23rd, beginning at 7:00 am is the West Michigan
Fly-In. You won't want to miss this year's event. With sponsorship
by Huntington Bank, we will be offering a small air show performance
by a T6 Texan and local skydivers. Rides will be available by the
Kalamazoo EAA Chapter for young eagles (children 8-17 years of age),
Dodgen Aircraft rides for $10.00 per person, Introductory Flight
Lessons in a Cessna 152 for $35.00 for a half hour of flight lessons
and a logbook, T6 Warbird and Pitts aerobatic rides, and helicopter
rides.
The US Coast Guard Rescue dolphin helicopter is scheduled to arrive
around 8:30 am and be here for the day. The Bronson/Borgess Air Care
dolphin helicopter will join us during the day. A classic car show
will go on throughout the day.
Multiple food vendors will be on site for the day. The Allegan Lions
club will provide a pancake breakfast and the Allegan Rotary club
will provide a hotdog and brat lunch. Other vendors will have BBQ
food, corn dogs, coffee, pop, lemonade, and much much more, you won't
go hungry!
Friday will be a setup and press viewing day. We will be shutting
our sod runway down at noon on Friday, so setup will begin then and
continue through the afternoon. If you would like to help setup, we
can always use extra help, come on out!
We have scheduled a full day of Pitts training and rides for Sunday
the 24th. Sorry that there are no more slots available for those of
you that might be interested on that day, but please keep in contact
with us if you would like to schedule for upcoming days. We will be
offering more of these days very soon! For those of you who are
signed up already you can look forward to a very fun day of flying
with Eric in the Pitts.
Quick Notes: The Champ is still for sale, price reduced to
$33,500.00. Two hangars still available at the Allegan Airport.
See you all this weekend for a growing event at the Allegan Airport!
