Looks like the back is a Questair Venture with a slight extension on the nose.
Man, would I love to watch that thing on the first flight........from a distance of course.

I bet everyone thought the Bell X-1 was a death trap too when they rolled it out.

The difference of course was the Bell X-1 didn't need to take off from its
own landing gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This looks like something out of the movie "Dune" or it could be a large
Cuisanart
