Dave:
We wanted more knee room, and were not enamored with the center console,
so we built a box over the valve on the floor and got a nice place to
run all of the wires, hoses, etc. If you are not too far along, you
might consider it. ZAC agreed that the center console was not necessary.
Also check out the fireproof Nomex boot for the steering rod, and the
extra aluminum on the floor to make the carpeting simpler................

Not a bad idea, takes care of a couple of problems..... I just wonder how hard the valve will be to reach (and see) with the XL's reclining seats.
