Today I visited my friend Dave Lewis who  recently bought a low time Slingshot and I have a couple qestions for Slingsot  builders.

 His 582 is spaced up an extra 1/2" in the rear so  the rear of the engine is higher than the front. Is this neccesary? I have my  Mk-3 engine level with the mounts and like it like that.

 Also, his gap seal is not so sealed and he would  like to rebuild it but we are a little short of ideas right now on how to  accomplish this, if any Slingshot owners can e-mail me photos of their gap seal  area we would appreciate it.
