just put some streamline strut covering over them,you will gain about 10 mph,and also put material over the jury stuts.

I would not remove the jury struts,they are added strength to the stuts,they and rigidity to them and  how many people have you seen get out of the airplane and use the sturts as support,if you have ever seen that you would be amazed at how much they move,those are they most important part to keep you in the air and you don’t want those to be flexing and fatiguing
