Thanks for the suggestions. The day I had the problem of no indicated oil
pressure the temp was in the low twenties but I thought I had pre-warmed the
oil. It turns out the electrical outlet I had used was dead and the oil was
cold. Once I discovered the outlet was dead I used another outlet, warmed
the oil properly, and started the engine. I immediately had normal oil
pressure. The other suggestions you made were therefore not used but will be
filled away for future reference. Thank you all for you expertise and
assistance.
