I just wanted to tell you folks that by purchasing the kit you get way more than sheet metal and, composite parts, you actually become part of a wonderful community.

I spend my last two month traveling through Australia with my wife. And I took the chance to drop some emails to RV-10 builders there and I hardly remember being so much welcome ever before.

I want to thank Pat, Chris and John for your hospitality!!!

Take care and keep on building.

Cross pollination within the RV-10 community worldwide is great. Thanks
for your overview of my build Mike and thank you to all of you out there
for your wonderful tips, advice, after market gadgets and heads-up
regarding the things to be on the look out for as one builds this
beautiful mammoth.

Many thanks from a warm to hot downunder.

I really agree that there is so much international help available for
RV10 builders - thankfully. Without the help of many, inc Tim, Deems,
Gary, Will, Rhonda, Stein etc, we couldn't have done it. Great service
from the whole community, even at silly times of day.

Good job too, as there is still only 1 RV10 in NZ.

But we do have the best scenery on the planet:-)

Come on you Aussie builders - how about a short trip across the ditch?
We hope to be with you next month - any suggestions as to places to
visit?

Neil, From a street rod builder's point of view, flames are so cool! But my buddy who owns the RV-10 we're building says flames are definitely something he does NOT want on his plane! Please send more pictures.

Later, - Lew

Just east of Mount Cook

Over Mt Ruapehu - our local active volcano

A huge whirlpool, north of Kaikoura

Neil it's Beautiful! Thanks for all the effort. Can you get it to Oshkosh
this summer?

In bound for landing will be really cool, going down in flames.

Geeze, if my wife wouldn't have done a silly thing like getting pregnant we would have been down there fall of 2006. Smile Oh well, Guess I can wait another couple of years to get to NZ and then on to Oz again to visit some friends. My travel agent is a Kiwi so I look forward to see where she sends us in your beautiful country. Definitely want to do some skiing.

Well if you had spent more late nights & early mornings building
planes......

My wife didn't get pregnant once while we were building ours!

mind you, our instructor said that flying around the tops of the
overcast at 5 feet (above the tops) was the most fun you could have
with your pants on! I think he may be right.
