Anyone know any IP's within 150-200 miles of GreenBay/Osh? I would
like to get finished up and ready for a checkride prior to OSH this
year. As soon as it thaws in the spring I would like to get enough
flying in to be ready. We only seem to have 1-2 events close by up
here, and it is super hard for me to go over 3-400 miles for a
clinic. There may be 1-2 other guys up here who might want to spend a
long weekend with an IP and I know of one other qualified wing in the
Milwaukee area.

Any help would be appreciated. Don't want to miss the 50+ plane
formation.

Herb

Herb,
Contact Mike Love in Madison, WI. Mike is a CFII, aerobatic instructor and
Yak 52 instructor. Mike can be reached on his cell phone at 608-516-9369.
I am also copying Mike on this email.

Is he a RPA FAST flight lead or a check pilot though? You can go on the RPA
website and look at the roster for wingies, leads, and check pilots to see
who is in your area.

I misinterpreted the email Doc. Mike is not a FAST IP or Lead. Thanks for
picking up on that.

Actually I did too. You can't go on the RPA site and find that info either.
You can find RPA CFI's under the instruction menu but not the current
training status of the members. Only Traron/CAF gives its members that
capability.
Sorry, I misquoted also.

Doc,
It's on the RPA site under the "Formation" tab the click on "FAST
Roster", then click on "Wing/Lead/Check" tabs for each qual. No specific tab
for instructor qual though.
