Our Allegro with 912UL has 560+ hours, and over fours years with not  

problems whatsoever in the electrical area, including original  

battery. In the winter, we keep a trickle charger on the battery. I  

keep hearing this stuff too but my experience with both airplanes I've  

had with 912 has been blemish-free.
