Marco, I have seen a yachtsman obtaining a very nice hull gloss - without using a spray gun - with this product:

It's polyurethane and you apply it with a roller and a brush. I haven't tried it myself, though.

Of course, Glenn, it's a yachtsman's product. But I thought Marco wanted to paint his cargo pod, not the fabric. ... maybe I misunderstood, in which case I apologize.
