Sheesh!  Put out some information about why we're doing what we're doing and get whacked for it....  I can see how you might think my post about our tanks is self-serving, but that was not the intent.  My intent was merely to explain what we are doing and why we are doing it.  Gill, your bladders have done quite well, congrats.   I'm sure you'll sell lots more as time goes on...
Now, to answer Doug's specific questions:

Quote:

It would be a matter of how the tanks are constructed and supported by
the existing straps. Are the straps supplemented and / or beefed up to
handle 50% more load?

Yes, and we'll also incorporate a third strap.  Again, drawings a details will be available once we're complete.

Quote:

Is the modification to the outboard rib adequate
to maintain integrity?

Of course...we wouldn't do it if it were not.  Again, and I need to stress this.  We are following approved and widely recognized structural reinforcement procedures.  It needs to be stressed that the mod will receive FAA DER approval.  We do not take liberties with the "Experimental" status when it comes to safety.
Quote:

Will the mod be available in kit form?

Yes.

Quote:

How is the tank to be vented?

Original vent system with a "top secret" (he says tongue in cheek.  It's simple and effective tho') mod to help balance fuel flow.

Quote:

What is the bottom line on price?

Still TBD, but will be competitive and reasonable.
