If you suspect there may be a need consider installing a couple inspection
ports between the strut attach points, it will give you a way to inspect mid
wing.

when I re-built my wings, I put inspection rings at each place I may need to get in and look at. This included the ends of the drag tubes, over the pitot tube pick up and over each strut attach fitting. I dont plan on cutting them out unless I need to look but they are there if I need them.
