My CAM100 (Honda 1.5L conversion) has only 60 hours over the past 7 years. Sheesh - check the archives for trials and tribulations along the way.
Anyhow, of late it's running very nicely but I do notice what might be a slight missing when the engine is loaded up in climb mode. It's not really pronounced and I can't detect it in other operational modes. Of course there's always a chance that it's really just an aerodynamic buffet of some sort that pulses the underbelly of the aircraft in certain conditions...
At any rate, after 7 years I figure the ignition cables should be changed along with new plugs asap. That'll hopefully fix the problem. Does anyone have any particular brands that work well and endure the heat and vibes of an aircraft installation? Thanks.
