Hey all,

Just got some paperwork in the mail regarding the SS bankruptcy.

It is regarding the abandonment of items owed by SS to an unsecured creditor.

He ordered a kit on July 05 and got screwed out of everything.

Though I kinda deal with laws as a cop on the criminal law side, I don't know much about civil law.

Anyone venture a guess at why one would abandon their rights to SS's "estate"?

I assume it is a legal move in preparation for taking some action outside of the bankruptcy realm.

I'm just glad I got most of my stuff before the filing (engine not included in the 'most'!!!) and that the McBean's have been so helpful to help us get the stuff we need.
