..not the same topic as before, but:
Thanks to Jos, Ivor and Gilles I have come to conclude that my wires
end in female bullet connectors. Apparently they should have included male
bullets but did not do so.
Therefore I will attach them with male bullets, connecting shielded
wire grounded as prescribed at both ends and consider the matter closed.

my understanding is to ground at one end only
