|
|
Guys,
I have an early Kitfox-II with a Rotax 582 with 275 hours. This morning on post flight inspection, I found one of the radiator attachment brackets had had separated from the radiator. Have any of you experienced this kind of failure? I think I'll have to remove the radiator and have the bracket either soldered or brazed back on to the radiator. This heating process could introduce leaks elsewhere. Another idea would be to install a clamp with rubber pads to hold the radiator.
I'm open to your advice or suggestions...

Joe,
If you are not able to do your self just remove and take to rad shop and get it soldered.
Could get it cleaned and pressure tested as well.
