 It's just a standard DV camera.  Actually one of the  cheaper ones.  It's just attached to a camera tripod and then it's strapped  onto the airplane.  The video quality it better than what YouTube shows but  in order to keep the file size under 100MB, the resolution has to be  reduced.  Then YouTube does it's own conversion and it loses even more  quality.
