Seattle KOMO News channel 4 reports that a Spokane man named Kenneth Lien was killed today in the crash of an experimental airplane near Hayden Lake ID. From a clear picture of the wreckage on Komo's web site, it appears to be a 601 HD, registration N9881T. Any information anyone?

A check of the FAA registry lists this as a Zodiac 601 XL. It is registered to Kenneth L Lien of Spokane, WA. The registry does not show any airworthiness certificate.
