I’m not sure how it happened. At this point it doesn’t really matter. In assembling the wing leading edge assemblies today, I noticed that my left leading edge skins has two outward dents in them. I doubt if it’s coincidence, but they are both in about the same place with one on the top surface and one on the bottom.
If it was in inward dent, then I assume it could be filled. However, I don’t have the knowledge or skill to address an outward dent. Is repair possible, or should I just resign myself to getting a new skin from Van’s in the morning.

Can you still get behind them?? Have you thought of an auto dent removal service?

I guess I can take the skin with me in the morning to work. Nothing riveted, just cleco’d. I hadn’t thought about that.

Bob,
Take a small hammer and punch and lightly tap all over the raised area.(Don't punch a hole in the skin) This will shrink the aluminum and slightly indent the skin. A thin layer of Super-Fil will finish the job.
