Hi Jay,
Try Loctite Stick n Seal. You can get it at Wal*Mart - a 1 oz. tube
is a couple of bucks. Look in the paint department.
Good Luck,
Paul

under the leading edge at the left end, and lifts it up. I tried
sticking it down with contact cement, but it came loose on my last
flight. Suggestions?

Zenith recommends Loctite Stick'N Seal Waterproof adhesive P/N 23782
availabe at Wal-Mart and I have seen it at Home Depot. (Cheaper at Wal-Mart)
I used that and also E6000. I think the E6000 works better.

Your setup is a little bit different from mine, but I used 3M
weatherstrip adhesive and have had no problem. Funny thing is, most of
the pictures of planes I see on the Zenith website don't have the
rubber going down that far. And this picture ( http://www.zenithair.com/zodiac/608/60935.jpg
) of the CH 650 from Oshkosh appears to have the lower end of the
molding held down with screws. Since there no need for the molding to
separate from aluminum in that area, I would suggest that you glue
down the leading edge of the molding to the aluminum so that the
airflow can't lift it.
