guys, having trouble with the manifold pressure sending unit that come with
the manifold gauge that vans sends with his unit.i have replaced three
senders in 135 hours, the last one just went out again 10 miles out a few
minutes ago,any one have any ideas as to what is causing this problem,or
where to get them with out having to buy the whole set up from vans,i know
vans sez to replace both, i have done, but also looking at the back of the
units, the dates made are differant, so that tells me that they are not a
matched pair,as far as viberation, the last time one went out,i mounted the
unit on plastic ties, hanging from the bulkhead, take that away from it to
see if thats the problem,i dont think thats it,any ideas from anyone on
this,thanks

Do you have a restrictor type fitting in the engine? I had a problem where the vacuum on the line at shut down would suck small amounts of fuel Into the line, evaporate and leave fuel dye to foul things up!!!
