Not sure about this,but the addition of Xylene, Toluene and N-hexane in unleaded gas to help keep the alcohol from separating may be more of a problem than just the alky alone.It seems like the older planes with sloshed tanks have a great deal of trouble with car gas.The slosh comes off and pollutes the fuel system.
