John,

Slow. Very slow.

Wings, tail feathers, engine, instruments, etc, are on and engine runs.
Need to do the sheet metal between wings & fuselage, fairing at rudder, and the cowling.
Doors fitted, then removed (they get in the way of progress).
Paint may be much later.
Actually, it is 99% done and 100% left to do.....
I'm 67 and still working 50 hours/week. Probably should decide which is more important!

An old bicycle buddy of mine suggested that instead of buying all manner of titanium bits and bobs for my bike I could save more weight by not drinking beer.

He may have been right, but we no longer speak.
