 Some of you probably can answer this,
 
 What do FAA types and DARs think about the idea of connecting wing tank fuel 
 lines to the fuselage lines/valve using quick disconnect couplings? They 
 have the handy feature of shutting off fuel flow/dripping from both sides of 
 the coupling when they are disconnected. At $26.00 per set they are pricey 
 but it's worth it to not have fuel running all over the place during 
 disassembly or service. I use them on my UL but have never asked if they are 
 considered safe enough for the more complex experimental aircraft.
