You might want to not permanently attach it anywhere until you put the plane on scales.
I bolted my battery and case on the floor of the fuse behind the co-pilots seat. The plane weighed 604 lbs I think. It might have been better to put it on the firewall to get the cg just a little more toward the forward side of the envelope.
A buddy put his as far back in the fuse as he could reach due to the weight of his non-912 engine.
