Hi All  

   

I said I would update the list once I had put my 28V start battery together – and gained some experience with it...  

   

In summary it works great.  Started 3 times with it – starts are quicker and I do not battle to keep the temps within limits.  

   

On one start I tested the voltage during start, it was showing around  24V.  So all good.  I calculated how much charging it will take – 2AH per start.  

   

To finalise the unit I still need to build a proper trolley for it, to make it easier to move up to the aircraft.  Currently all the batteries are in a box on a 2 wheel loading trolley.
