Anybody have any comments either way about using their BA-197E sock type filter on a Housai? I read Craig Payne's old post on the subject

Thanks,

Keith

I use the BA-195 and love it. Haven't really noticed any reduction in MP.  If proof is needed, just look at the filter after having flown it for about 100 hours. Most of the stuff on the fliter would have gone into your motor given the size of the original screen filters on the CJ cowl and Housai carb intake. Well worth the $45 investment. JB
