I am installing an MTP-860-4 prop governor on my IO-360 and have run into a problem. The AN3-11A bolt that attaches the rod end bearing to the governor arm is so long that it will not line up with the hole in the arm. Has anyone else run into this and could give me some advice? I don't want to loosen the arm from the shaft unless I have to.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I called Van's and talked with Tom. He said that the direction of the bolt was not critical, and that it could be put in from the other side. That's what I did, and it worked.
