We have 220 hours on our 601XL and check the wing  attachment fittings about every hundred hours -- although a bit tardy this  time.  A partner recently noticed that there was just a bit of  fore-and-aft give on the left wing.  The main spar attach bolts on both  wings checked good.  However, the left rear attach bolt required somewhere  between one and two turns to tighten firmly -- about one turn on the right  wing.  

  

 I would strongly suggest checking spar attachment  at least every 100 yours, particularly the rear attachment point.  I am not  an engineer but suspect that slight fore-and-aft movement while flying could  very well lead to a catastrophic wing failure starting at the trailing  edge.  Sound familiar?

Perhaps some Inspector's Lacquer ("witness paint") on the nut would help provide a visual indication that could be checked during preflights.
