|
|
[quote] ----- The co-pilot's airspeed indicator in a 1978 Shrike is 20 kts slower than the one on the pilot's side. The mech asked if the pilot and co-pilot airspeed indicators were connected to seperate pitot tubes. I checked the only Mantenance manual which I had which was one for a 500B and I think that both air speed indicators are connected to both pitot tubes.
Does anyone know for sure?
Kindest regards,
Bill

Nope, but they are intended to be connected to separate pilot tubes, but after this many years who knows??. Easy to check, just blow into each tube and see what happens. If only one moves, you have your answer. jb
