-10 List,
I just purchased a hand scale to keep in my plane for weighing luggage etc… while on the road. It’s a nifty little device that seems to work pretty well based on a few trials. The item is called Balanzza http://www.balanzza.com/ I purchased the Balanzza Ergo. It lists for $24.95 but I think I picked it up (new) for $18.00 delivered on eBay. I even got one in a steel blue to match my plane. They have a new unit coming out called the Balanzza Too BZ300 that has a flashlight on the butt end but it’s closer to $40.00 delivered as it has not hit eBay/discounters.

That is WAY cool for the price and could probably also measure nosewheel breakout force!

From plans, it's 26lbs. After going through the setup a
few times with it loosening over time, I'd say go on the high
side, not the low, as the flats will probably force you to go in
one way or the other. I've set mine anywhere between 25 and 35
in the past, and it will loosen quite a bit.
The torque spec is on page 46-06.

Page 46-06, step 2: should be 26 pounds. This WILL loosen up during the first several hours and need to be readjusted.

I don't remember where it is in the plans, but I assume in the landing gear and wheel section. The force IIRC is 26lbs at the axle.

It's in the section where the nose gear is put together. Think it is 26 lbs.
