After eight hours of non-stop hammering, bounding, and cussing we finally left Triple Tree Aerodrome without the airplane. One of the small bolts on the lower right side of the right wing just didn’t want to cooperate. Lack of space, tapered fuselage, etc. didn’t help the situation.
Pat, the owner of the place was kind enough to give the cadre of people who came to help rides in his BT-13. (Much thanks to Pat!)
Thanks to all of you who showed up to help. I really appreciate the time, assistance, and encouragement.
If any of you have any tips on how to get that one offending bolt out of an RV-7 or -9, please let me know.
Bill
PS. I’m still shaking my head at the insurance guy’s estimate of 10 hours to get the thing ready to put on a trailer.

Bill, did the bolt bend? If so, it will need to be cut off flush with the spar carry-through before it can be driven with a punch and a rivet gun. If it has not bent, do what Larry suggests, and use penetrating oil for the stubborn bolt.
