Ok, usually I am quiet and watch the emails go flying by, but I have to ask a question, that I am asked all the time.



I have the number 69 on the nose of my changalicious, N7NF.



What does that mean? if anything.  Thanks guys, don't crucify me....

That number on the nose is usually the last two numbers of the aircraft serial number. In your case, that's not the case.

I think it's just the aircraft number within the squadron.  Jack are you lurking?? (he would know for sure.

Doug is correct. 

 It is the last two of the three digit squadron  ident. Well, that is assuming it's the same number it had on arrival from  China.
