As a result of obtaining a Light Sport Repairman/Inspection Certificate on my E-LSA, I finished up the aircraft inspection and took it up for a test. Here, in the mountains of North Carolina where my hangar is located, I spent a few hours just roaming the airport area with my Coolpix camera (hard to hold and fly at the same time). I had just completed setting the timing on my Corvair 100HP engine, changed the oil and plugs, tightened the tension of the cables and inspected the aircraft. So here is a portion of that flight.

I have an optical tach on the glareshield that provides redundancy and you may also note that several of the shots show a G-Meter on the right top of the panel. I've never exceeded between 0.6 and 1.7 nor have I exceeded Va except in very calm air. The flight was extraordinary and the 601 flew beautifully.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the comment. Hopefully next posting I'll be able to spend more time making video of the wing lockers, instruments, etc rather than bouncing around all over. I know some have expressed concern that the lockers were worrisome however they sure don't look like there is any movement of them while in flight.
