Does anybody have the torque value for the wing bolts?

I can't find it.

Hi Greg!

    

   Book 5, page 41, item 21, heading "Wing" in the List of Periodical Inspections states:

   "Check the condition of the connecting joint nuts and their safeguarding (the tightening force must be 270 to 350 kp/cm)"

    

   kp = kiloponds

   kp is a somewhat arcane term that indicates force. One kp = one kilogram.

    

   This works out to 20 to 25 ft/lbs by my calculations but check my math.

    

   Below is a link to a conversion program for torque.

   Note to all reading this:

   Please weigh in on this if you think the value is something different.  Obviously this is a critical structural component that we need to make sure is torqued to the correct value.
