With all due respect Stefan, Jon "Crash" Croke of Homebuilt Help sorta
makes his living making and sell those DVD's, he's one of us and a real
good guy. To me it just doesn't seem like the right thing to do to give
them away. Again, just my opinion. Larry, N1345L

Larry --- you don't think that maybe, just maybe there is someone out there
that cannot afford to buy the DVD's new and would appriciate Stefan's
generious offer. Without extra money they couldn't afford the luxury of
spending a couple of hundred $'s on DVD's------------ Fritz do
 not archive

Probably shouldn't buy a used Zenith, then, either. After all Zenith makes
their money selling new. Sorry, Jon. The resale market is part of doing
business. That's what happens when you have a non-consumable product. Goes
 with the territory.

Used DVDs notwithstanding, I can speak to buying a used kit. If the original buyer is deceased, proceed with care. I've been dealing with the FAA for three months with getting the registration. I bought a kit from the original owner's estate and I've been caught in FAA limbo since August.
It ain't pretty. I thought I had all the bases covered but the FAA has rejected my application twice because of their interpretation of what an estate is. If I don't get this cleared up, I will have a $$$$$ pile of aluminum out at the airport.
My advice about buying a second hand kit is don't, unless the original buyer is still alive.
I think I may clean this post up a bit and send it to Jon to possibly include in one of his future Zenair Newsletters. Plus, I'm going to keep my Homebuilt Help DVDs (my daughter is an English teacher and she told me NOT to use apostrophes with words like CDs, DVDs, etc.).
