      No response from Zenith on  several subjects for the past couple of weeks.
      Didn't receive any instructions  for the installation of my Matco brakes+wheels. If anyone has the applicable  information for an HD/HDS, please forward. Thanks.

				Hi Bill,
 The Matco install is probably not much more than getting the orientation 
 of the brake correct for the rotors and at an angle that
 will permit easy plumbing.
  The picture of this gear shows the brake installed with the red cap on 
 the bottom and the brake angled down and to the rear.
 This allows easy plumbing with the brake inside, or between the mains. 
 When installed this way, you should be able to jack the
 fork and remove the wheel and rotor intact and without disassembly of 
 the brake assembly on the fork.

 Then all you need is a tuff flex hose that can take the beating from the 
 brake to a connection with a standard brake line at the wing.

 Suggest the S83 Michelin 3.5 x 8.0 tires from a motorscooter
 for $35.00 each with tubes that have bent stems. Farm and Fleet has 
 rubber fender washers that protect the tubes really well.

 My Matco's on my HD came with generic instructions for installation (not Zenith Specific).  I consulted with King Larry's website, found some photos and compared...  Found that my brakes provided were slightly different than his but basically the same, the main thing that I found in Matco's instructions was to put the brakes on the rear whenever possible.   Contact me offline and I'll see if I can snap a photo for you of what I did.
 
 When in doubt, I consult Larry's website, all HD/HDS builders owe it to themselves to visit his site.  THANKS SO MUCH LARRY!!!  Youve saved hours of head scratchin!!!

     I just emptied the shipping box for the first time today- parts and old 
 newspaper but no instructions. I was more concerned with how to mount the 
 rotor assembly to the fork than anything else. 1/4" SAE mounting the rotor 
 assembly, with no spacers between the rotor and fork? Thanks.

 Once you've spacer centered your wheel in the fork, the brake calipers 
 will bolt on and you can decide what may be needed to get the pads
 float pattern centered each side of the rotors.

				I am trying to find a diagram of how to connect a Mc5 master with a mc-4 slave. The slave has two holes but the master only has one. 
   Can someone expain or show picture of correct connections?
   I assume that top of slave goes to resevoir and bottom goes to T on master then to the brake. 
   Help

				Hi Don,
 
 I hope my memory is correct . . .
 
 The  master has a reservoir in the top of the cylinder.  The single 
 port is for connection to the wheel cylinder .  .  .
 
 The slave goes in the line between the master and the wheel cylinder.
 
 I found a drawing on the Aircraft Spruce web site that shows which 
 end of the slave goes to the master and which goes to the wheel.
 
 The fun part is figuring out how to get all the lines full of fluid 
 with no bubbles.  The trick I learned is to do just the opposite of 
 what you do when you bleed brakes.  With the lines and cylinders 
 empty you connect a pump and load of hydraulic fluid (airplanes don't 
 use brake fluid, they use the red stuff) and then pump fluid from the 
 bottom of the system all the way to the top of the master 
 cylinder.  Suitable pumps can be something like a plastic ketchup 
 bottle or an oil can with one of those little pump handles built in 
 attached to the bleed valve on the wheel cylinder with a foot or two 
 of flexible hose.
