I too wonder why Dan shut his web site down, it was the best one out there for detail and great info?

He posted at the time he wasn't comfortable with people taking liberties with his time. I think he also wanted to move on with other aspects of his life.

I have NO information on why Dan removed his site however I do know that a site like that and his level of involvement can tend to suck up a significant amount of time including family time. I think we can all see how resetting ones priorities may make shutting down the site the best choice for higher priority items be they personal or professional.
