Building 601xl. I'm about the drill the holes to fit the wing spar center
section to the cabin floor. The photo guide says to insert and bolt the
wing spar inserts in the center section. I'm to drill a hole in the insert
to match the middle hole in the center section.

I've reviewed the plans, the photo guide, and the archives but cannot
figure out how far the bolt hole goes in the spar insert.

Later, the spar insert will be used to make a jig to locate the distance
and angle of the rear frame channel relative to the wing spar so that the
attach plates will line up with the wing's rear channel.

However, I'm not that far along. My current goal is to get the spar insert
at the right distance in the center spar section. Does anyone have the
 dimension for those holes?

My wing spar inserts, 6B13, are perfectly rectangular, 200mm horizontal and
 212 vertical.
