Just flew another approach starting from 3k, leveling to 2k and down to min. And up to published missed approach.

At my zoom level which is larger than the IFR charts, the reference plane seemed very accurate in relation to my position though out the entire flight. I zoomed in to an extreme level and compared my flight path to an intersection while passing by on my way to my home airport and found perhaps .2 mile discrepancy. I think that this is to be expected since the charts are scanned and stitched together and t he edges do not match perfectly.

Just for kicks, I shut down the iPad, restarted it and entered the program while in flight. It took perhaps a min. and the program found it's position. The reference plane turned orange, pulsated and turned black once it found it's position.

I am so far very pleased with this set up and am sure that there are other useful set ups such as the voyager. Hopefully we can get a Voyager flight test report and compare.

More reports to come.

Just a quick question, If you are watching your IPAD during the approach who"s  watching the instruments? And doing the approach? Down to minimuns? I would think this would come under reckless operations. Although come to think about it, my approachs are always reckless.
