I had the same problem and hesitation.� VANS said that since they started with the computerized matching they have not had any fit problems.� I am proceeding with construction and am the finishing stages.

I just started on the center section of my RV-8 fuselage. �In the instructions
it states that if you received your center section with your wing kit, not to
use it as it will not work with the pre-punched fuselage kit.
This part doesn't bother me as my center section came with my fuselage kit just
two months ago. �However, I checked the numbers on my wing spars and compared
them to the number on my center section package and they do not match. �Are they
suppose to?
The numbers on my spars are 81966R & PP3T61966R on the right and 81966L & PP3T61966L
on the left. �The number on my center section package is 8-2238.
I thought I had read somewhere that the spars and center sections were matched
sets. �I'm hesitant to go any farther until I find out and thought I would ask
here first. �If anyone can provide any insight, I would appreciate it.
