Smokey,
Is yours the SW911N model? It has a hooked end on the blade.
Here's a link for one at a reasonable price. http://www.botachtactical.com/swfirresknif1.html
The blade obviously locks in place when open. What is your estimation of the blade folding when being used to break a canopy? Would a fixed blade breaker tool be better?
Thanks,
Stan Sutterfield

The SW911 actually has a breaker on the opposite end of the tool. It is a carbide bullet shaped bit that is spring loaded. When you flip the switch it pops out and you punch the hole with it, then open the blade and start cutting. I tried it on an old RV4 canopy and it punched a large hole first try. It's designed for glass so thin plexiglass is cake.
