In Bakersfield, Ca at L45 I rent a hanger from the city. But I have to pay the cities property tax on the hanger and any improvements. about $88.00 last year. My Hanger rent is only $160.00 a month, which is a good deal, but I fought the tax with the city and lost. The county accesses the airplane property tax which is about 1% a year . Steve N7124L
