Tex,
I believe it depends on tire.
I know alot of folks have tried different pressures in working through some wheel shimmy.
Right now with the Air Trac mains, I'm using 32PSI and I'm still experimenting wiht the Dyna Beads as a dynamic balancing technique.

I was hoping to finalize my testing this weekend, but we've got a wash out here in west central Florida.

Hey Tex: I am using 25 pounds (as recommended by Arion). And have found that by using a heavier tire (I currently have a 10 ply on the RH main) and getting it closely balanced, that most of the 20 mph "wheel bounce" is gone.

Tex,
What I have found that works best overall is to air the mains up to 28 PSI, then when they look slightly low on pressure, they will probably be about 23 PSI. That is when I air them up to 28 PSI again.
I am at Dave Jalanti's place for the next several days, so why not fly down for a visit. We might even get the two Lightnings up for some formation photos. His operation is at Kline Kill Airport (NY1). Hopefully Carl and Pat can come over also while I am here.
Blue Skies,
Buz
