I am really bummed to hear about the -52 crash in Maine with 2 of our Yak
brethren onboard.
I was just in the process of writing a Yak Safety email last week, but
didn't get it done.
This is the third (3rd) multi-fatal Yak 52 accident in 2010.
There have been 2 multi-fatal in T6s and a P51 loss in addition to several
other warbird issues.
PLEASE, take it slowly the remainder of this year.
Do an extra FOD check.
Watch the low level maneuvering.
Many of us are flying less and working more.
Double up the safety paranoia and be suspicious of everything.
Have a great OSH for those that can make it.
